ABOUT
metaphysical
I feel grateful to be brought up in a culture full of spirituality and countless trips to spend time with family in
India since I was a baby. During these trips to India, as a late teen and beyond, I became fascinated by
the metaphysical. I would spend my time in bookstores, being drawn to knowledge about self-healing, the
higher consciousness, the spirit world and personal development. I would question my place in the world, how
I identify with both eastern and western culture, and learning about the power of affirmations, past lives and
ancestral healing. Going to Palm readers, Tarot readers, Psychics and crystal stores felt like home.
From an early age, my mother had a great influence in awakening my curiosity into holistic therapies and the
power of the moon cycles. My Godparents were the first to take me to the Krishna mandir (Bhaktivedanta Manor
temple), which I thought was a magical land at the time! Over 30 years ago I went to see a Reiki Practitioner,
and the experience was profound. Many years later in 2007, I was gifted a book about the Law of Attraction,
which added to my curiosity of manifestation, and further opening the floodgates of the power of energy and
the mind.
Over the years, losing loved ones and going through the different stages of grief, experiencing stress, anxiety,
and feeling lost, eventually guided me to book a yoga retreat in 2007. The experience gifted me many
unanswered questions about myself, and I embraced the mind-body connection, which eventually led me to soul
search by way of travelling in 2009, and my love of solo travel began. In 2017, I travelled to Bali, Indonesia
for three months to complete a 200 hrs hatha yoga teacher training to support my own personal practice,
and once again dived deep into healing and embraced my love of photography, drawing and dancing.
I would shy away from my creativity when I was younger through fear, and so a new found love of them as
a spiritual, healing release began. I immersed myself in yoga and meditation retreats, including Vipassana
(known as silent meditation).
reiki
My journey of helping others holistically has always been intertwined with my own personal, intuitive and spiritual growth. In 2018, I embarked on this path by earning my first-degree in Reiki, Shoden (Japanese translation: First teachings). Recognising that authentic, personal growth demands dedication, I continued to self practice, understanding Reiki as a lifelong healing practice, and how it fitted into my then, very stressful, unauthentic work life, and how it helped me through my own challenges of everyday life. I chose to wait until February 2020 to complete the second degree, Okuden (Japanese translation: Inner teachings) which allowed me to professionally practice and help others.
Then, the unexpected Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent UK lockdown in March led me to adapt to Distance Reiki. I didn't find this transition challenging, in fact, I felt remarkably in tune with this form of practice, as throughout my life, I have been quietly healing. Distance Reiki has allowed me to connect with people around the world, which is heartwarming, enhancing Reiki as a healing practice with boundless reach. In 2023, I expanded my practice to offer in-person treatments in Harrow and Pinner (Middlesex, London, UK). This welcomed shift enabled my practice to connect with people within my local community. In 2024, I completed my Reiki Master and Teacher level, Shinpiden (Japanese translation: Mystery Teachings and Shihan: Master Teacher). As I have taken my time and been open to discover the possibilities within, and working with clients for a few years, I felt immediately ready to guide others who choose Reiki as their professional path, by offering teaching services.
sound
In 2024, I introduced Sound Healing to my clients. My offerings have grown into weaving both Reiki and Sound together, sound healing one-to-one and Tibetan Sound Massage, as transformative healing journeys. I also offer group sound baths at Pinner Village Hall and Ickenham Village Hall - it's a beautiful way to share healing. Connecting to sound has always come easily to me, being highly intuitive and naturally connected to playing instruments and music as a child. Sound is an integral part of my Indian heritage, such as ringing bells to awaken the Gods in temples and during rituals, and listening to / attending kirtan (devotional chanting), all of which create powerful vibrations within the body, mind and spirit. balance.
quietly healing
Quietly Healing is a space to rest, reset, and gentle inner connection. Rooted in Reiki and Sound Healing, each session is offered with care and intention and the focus is on supporting balance across the physical, emotional and energetic layers of the body. Creating a calm environment, the body can soften and the mind can settle.
When we invest in ourselves and work towards living a high vibrational life, our body, mind, spirit and emotions restore balance and allow us to live mindfully. We don't always notice the healing shifts straight away. The beauty of it all is quietly healing in the background.I look forward to sharing Reiki and sound healing with you.
